SwapScope is an independent, community-built market analytics utility. SwapScope is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Starpets (starpets.gg), RoSwap (roswap.com), Roblox Corporation, or Murder Mystery 2 (MM2). All item names, images, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

1. Privacy Policy & Data Handling

SwapScope is designed to operate without user accounts, logins, or personal data collection:

  • Local Browser Storage (localStorage): Your fee settings, filter presets, watched item lists, audio/desktop alert preferences, and optional Discord webhook URL are stored exclusively in your own browser's localStorage under the ss:* key prefix. They are never saved to a SwapScope database.
  • Discord Webhook Relay: If you configure a Discord webhook URL and enable Discord alerts, your browser sends the webhook URL and matched item summary to SwapScope's stateless server function solely to relay the HTTP POST request to discord.com/api/webhooks/…. SwapScope does not store, log, or share your webhook URL.
  • Anonymous Usage Analytics & Core Web Vitals: SwapScope measures anonymous interaction events (such as page views, preset selections, and Core Web Vitals like LCP/CLS) to improve performance and usability. Sensitive fields (like webhook URLs) are automatically stripped, and browser Do Not Track signals or your opt-out preference below are strictly respected.
  • Third-Party Market Data & Assets: SwapScope's server functions fetch public item catalog and sales statistics from Starpets (apineural.com) and RoSwap (roswap.com). Item thumbnails are loaded directly from their respective CDNs, and fonts are served via Google Fonts.

2. Terms of Use

By accessing and using SwapScope, you agree to the following terms:

  • Informational Purposes Only ("As-Is"): All swap values, RoSwap coin values, Starpets market prices, fee calculations, and 30-day sales metrics are provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. Upstream catalogs and stock levels change continuously; always verify the live value and price on the target platform before completing any trade or withdrawal.
  • No Financial or Trading Liability: SwapScope and its contributors are not responsible for any trading losses, price fluctuations, illiquid items, fee changes, or third-party platform disruptions.
  • Fair Use & Rate Limits: Do not use automated scrapers or excessive polling against SwapScope's server endpoints beyond the built-in auto-sync intervals.
